The SaskMétis Business Directory aims to ensure that more Métis businesses can participate in the Saskatchewan supply chain and will allow for increased engagement between members of the Métis Business community.
Do I have to pay to register my business?
No – it’s completely free. We are here to support and promote your business. No charge.
What are the requirements to be listed on SaskMétisWorks.ca?
- At least one business owner must be a registered Métis Nation Saskatchewan (MN–S) citizen with a valid citizenship card.
- Applicants must provide the required documentation and complete the MN–S Citizenship Application.
- Applications are available on the MN–S website by calling 306-343-8391 or emailing info@mnsregistry.ca
- Business records must show Métis majority ownership to upgrade from “verified” to “certified” status.
- This rigorous process ensures the authenticity and integrity of Métis-owned businesses listed in the directory.
How long does it take to get my business registered?
Becoming Verified:
Submit our simple application with your MN-S citizenship information, and you will be added to our site.
Becoming Certified:
Provide additional documentation during initial registration or after the fact to verify majority Métis ownership. Once submitted, we will quickly assess the information and grant certification.
