This tool has been put into place to increase Métis brand and business awareness to government, industry, and anyone looking to engage with a Métis business.

The SaskMétis Works Business Directory will provide procurement managers and buyers with direct access to certified, Saskatchewan-based, Métis businesses in every sector of the economy. In doing so, the SaskMétis Works Business Directory will enhance Métis inclusion in Saskatchewan’s economy and assist government and industry in achieving their indigenous procurement targets.

Mission
The SaskMétis Works Business Directory will increase visibility and awareness for Métis owned businesses by providing a virtual space where certified Métis businesses can upload business profiles and contact information in a searchable database. The certification process created by SMEDCO will provide procurement managers and buyers with the assurance that they are buying goods and services from Métis companies that are owned by confirmed Métis Nation-Saskatchewan citizens.
