About Vermette Wood Preservers
When brothers Archie and Gil Vermette went into business together back in 1973, their goal was simple: to honour and support their parents while also making life better for their respective families. That’s at the heart of the Métis heritage they grew up in.
What We Do
Meeting all industry standards for all treated-wood products. We can produce virtually any size of fence post, pole, piling, lumber, and timber. VWP products meet or exceed all CSA, AWPA, and USDA standards for treated wood.
Where applicable, all our wood products are pressure-treated in an oil-base preservative, pentachlorophenol, better known as Penta
