The Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism has developed our business registry to uplift Métis entrepreneurs and provide procurement opportunities. This initiative represents a significant effort to support the economic growth and development of Métis citizens in Saskatchewan. By creating this database, the Ministry aims to enhance access to procurement opportunities, fostering a more inclusive and prosperous economic landscape for Métis entrepreneurs.

How It Works
The Metis Nation Business Directory highlights verified and certified Métis-owned businesses by allowing them to create detailed profiles. Businesses can share information such as locations, services, and contact details.
The directory uses the NAICS code system to classify business types, helping to communicate with industry and government for better supply chain integration. Businesses are added as Verified businesses have partial Métis ownership, while Certified businesses have majority Métis ownership. (See FAQ to understand our process)
